The #hannahculottes are wide-leg trousers that feature a self-faced high waist with an optional button detail on the front pleat, and a center back zip. The cut-away pockets cleverly flatten the belly for a flattering finish. Style options include midi and shorts length.

There are three body types to choose from to ensure a good fit: Low Triangle, High Triangle and Even Triangle in sizes 6 - 26.

The instructions come with a video link sew-along and include 10 True Fit Stories to help with alterations to fit your body.

Downloads include PDF A4/US Letter home print, A0 Shop Copy and Instructions. The patterns can be printed with layers, so you only need to print your individual size, or you may wish to print multiple layers if you need to grade between sizes. There is also a handy envelope design to assist storage and reference. The projector friendly A0 Shop Copy is trimless and has an optional grid layer for calibration.

  • Angel P. I am so impressed with this pattern, it’s the first time I tried your patterns and I can’t believe how much information you include. The included video link in the pattern was such a great idea and made things much easier as I’m a visual learner. The pattern (other than adjusting for my height) fit me perfectly because of your body system. The effort that went into creating this pattern is clear when making it. I also love the fact the pockets add a little stability for the tummy area, I’ve never done or even seen a pocket like this before!

Anne K. I love this pattern. I made a pair of shorts to test the size and to confirm that I had shortened the crotch length correctly. I wanted hiking shorts so I added patch pockets in the back and cargo pockets on the side. The shorts are perfect. The wide leg is wonderful for hiking. I have two more items planned: long pants and a mid-calf version.

Krystal L. Being petite I always pass on anything floor length that isn't slim fitting as I always look like I'm swimming in fabric, and especially if it is a woven pattern as fit is extremely tricky (for me anyway!) In wovens! I love how the Hannah culottes fit, I didn't have to alter the pattern much at all and the proportions are amazing, I have cut out 2 others already! The A0 file is very easy to use with my projector as well!

June B. The Hannah Culottes are a very well drafted pattern with excellent instructions and videos available. They are very flattering to all body shapes and sizes.

Jessica R. Love this pattern for a wideleg pant you can dress up or dress down. Great addition to my wardrobe.

Lim K. Because there were the 3 options for high, even and low triangles, I was able to choose the right shape for me and the pants fitted perfectly right from the muslin stage which was lovely! I absolutely enjoyed the video as it felt like there was someone guiding me as I did my pants. The video made the making of this pants easy and even the invisible zipper part turned out beautifully. I thoroughly enjoyed my first pattern union sew and I foresee more sews from this designer in the future!

Kerynne B. This pattern is fantastic, I have been looking for a nice culottes pattern for some time and these are fabulous. Interesting details, plenty of length options and big deep pockets!

Christine K.The Hannah Culottes are beautifully drafted and stylish pants that have multiple options for customization with multiple lengths and opportunities to embellish with buttons and topstitching details. Choice of fabric, length, topstitching/embellishment can take these culottes from casual daywear to an elegant evening out!

Agnese I. Woven pants that fit without grading for various body shapes, and also are super quick and easy to make, love those.

Ilah T. I love my Hannah culottes! I have a thing for a great wide-leg high-waisted pant and Hannah has them both! It’s a great pattern with lots of drama, plus, they were easy to sew up!

Eleonora A.If you get the pattern you are getting well written instructions, easy to follow (even for me, that I am a Spanish native speaker), a video (if you are more of a visual learner) and fantastic feedback on fit!

Alyssa W.I love wide-legged pants and was thinking I ought to make a couple more pairs for my fall and winter wardrobe, but I wasn’t sure what pattern I wanted to use. Then the Hannah Culottes came along and they were perfect! This pattern came together very easily, less than a day of sewing, and the results are beautiful! I have fabric sewn aside for two more pairs!

Jayne W.Super stylish and fun pattern to make. As mid calf culottes these are spot on I really like the tummy panel a secret muffler.

Eugenia T. Hannah Culottes are a great addition to anyone's closet. And what's not to like! Its different lengths make them perfect for a casual or dressy look. The flattering belly flatten pocket cut is brilliant. It also includes a video tutorial linked to the instructions. And above all, the three body type to choose from...because our bodies are all unique!

GlendaLove the pants, fits perfect for me. Easy to follow instructions. Will sure make it again.

Anna B. Swing your pants. These are great and quite speedy to make, Sarahs instructions and tips result in a really prfesional finish. The sizing and shape options result in a super fit and they are somuch fun to wear.

Mariz V. I have a childhood trauma from pleated trousers, so I avoided them as the plague. I love wide leg trousers with a vengeance, so I loved this pattern straight away. The legs are awesome, and the pleats were totally different from my childhood horror trousers!

Rae M. Love the different body shapes.
